Here we are, one of our favorite crosses this year! This one is quite special for a few reasons. The resin productions on these girls are absolutely grower worthy! We took our old Salt Water Taffy cut from a few years ago “FIRE” which has a genetic lineage of Strawberry Diesel, and crossed her into a strain called Maple Pine. If your looking for some really pungent flower with a devastating but smooth effect, this girl provides it!

 

Maple Taffys origination came from a close friend of mine in New Hampshire. This cut is absolutely stunning in so many ways! We saw this girl a few years ago growing outside and she is a definite keeper! She has nice, big, trichome lathered flower clusters everywhere, which i personally prefer over long spaced internodal varieties. The terpenes on her are quite unique, there’s hints of pine and some sort of limey kush with cream.

 

The cross between these two create an essential masterpiece in our eyes and checks all the boxes. She does really well indoors and outdoors with no problems with IPM issues, at least we did not have any.  They grow quite big so be sure to get ready for some kind of branch bracing! The growth dispersion is quite favorable as well with nice moderately tight internode spacing resulting in some nice bulky colas. Don’t stress out about potency or trichome production on this variety because they will do their job.
